It’s time to introduce our third act on September 22nd: Anna Fredrixon from Kry / Livi.

👋 Employer Branding Summit is a digital and free event gathering international speakers within employer branding and recruitment.

Every couple of years, an innovation comes along that fundamentally disrupts the current praxis. One could easily argue that Apple disrupted the world with its’ iPhone – as Spotify did with music.

Imagine ten years ago if someone told you that you could have a doctors appointment in five minutes, no matter where in the world you were. Would you believe it? Kry, with their international brand Livi, made that possible, and it changed it all. But in times of globalisation and change, one specific metric is more important than everything else: Speed. But what about the culture? How do diversity and inclusion match up with speed?

Put your hand up if you’ve ever been part of creating and writing down an organisations core values – then never looked at them again and realised some years later that they’re merely words on a piece of (hopefully) digital paper.

At Oddwork, we’ve asked over 300 job candidates what the first thing is they wanted to know about a new employer. The answer from more than 70% of the respondents was: The company’s core values. Therefore, it is essential to describe your organisation’s values and explain how those values manifest — 96% of candidates believe that to enjoy a job, the company’s values must align with their personal preferences.

Core values as a matter of growth

Core values come alive when you act and work according to them. With this realisation comes that core values need to change over time, just as business ideas or how we perceive offices spaces change with time. So how can we make sure our core values stay alive and stay fluent with time, without being in dire need of a re-start at every major change?

Kry / Livi has faced this question many times and pushed through, creating strategies spanning multiple countries and bridging gaps between cultures, languages and nationalities. At Kry / Livi, core values are a matter of growth.
